This is a high-quality 1:43rd model of the #20 BMW E30 M3 from the 1992 Tooheys 1000 run at Bathurst's Mount Panorama. The 'Benson & Hedges Racing' BMW was driven by Denny "The Bear" Hulme (NZL) and Paul "The Dude" Morris (AUS). During this race Denny Hulme died on Conrod Straight after suffering a heart attack at the wheel of the BMW.

Following his death Denny was inducted into the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame. A decade later, in 2002, he received worldwide recognition with his induction into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame. He remains New Zealand's only F1 World Drivers Champion.
